1. Who we are

Raise Rank Digital Pvt. Ltd. ("Raise Rank", "we", "us" or "our") is a software engineering and digital growth studio registered in Nepal. We build websites, apps and software, and we run the SEO and marketing that make them pay off.

This policy covers the website at raiserank.com.np only. It does not cover work we carry out on a client's own website or systems, which is governed by the written agreement we sign with that client.

2. The short version

This website has no account system, no login and no contact form. We do not sell your information, and we run no advertising on this site.

The only personal information you give us directly is whatever you choose to put in an email or say on a phone call. Beyond that, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, and we use analytics tools to understand how the site is used.

3. What you send us directly

Every contact route on this site is a direct email or telephone link, so there is no form here that captures or stores your details.

When you email info@raiserank.com.np or call us, we receive whatever you choose to share. That is usually:

• •Your email address or telephone number
• •The content of your message and any files you attach
• •Any notes we make while responding to your enquiry

4. Analytics and session recording

We use third party analytics tools to understand how visitors find and use this website so that we can improve it. Those tools are Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC), Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) and PostHog (PostHog Inc.).

They collect technical and behavioural information rather than information that identifies you by name. Depending on the tool, that can include:

• •Pages you view, the order you view them in, and how long you stay
• •The website or search engine that referred you
• •Approximate location derived from your IP address, usually no more precise than city level
• •Device type, screen size, browser and operating system
• •Clicks, taps, scrolling and mouse movement
• •A session replay or heatmap reconstructing how you moved through a page

Microsoft Clarity and PostHog can produce a session replay, which is a reconstruction of your visit assembled from those interaction events rather than a video of your screen. We enable text masking wherever the tool supports it, and we do not use these tools to identify individual visitors.

These tools store cookies or identifiers in your browser. The section on cookies below explains how to refuse them.

Status on the last updated date shown above: analytics and session recording are not yet switched on for raiserank.com.np. This section sets out what will apply once they are enabled, and we will change the last updated date on the day that happens.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small file that a website asks your browser to store. Similar technologies include local storage and tracking pixels.

Raise Rank sets no cookies of its own for advertising or personalisation. The analytics tools described above set their own cookies or local storage entries so that they can tell one visit apart from another:

• •Google Analytics 4 sets cookies such as _ga to distinguish visitors and sessions
• •Microsoft Clarity sets cookies that tie the events within one session together
• •PostHog stores an identifier so that a repeat visit can be recognised

None of these are essential to the website working. You can block or delete them in your browser settings at any time, and every page here will still function normally.

6. Hosting and server logs

This site is hosted on Vercel, which operates the servers and content delivery network that serve these pages and keeps standard technical logs for security, performance and abuse prevention. Those logs record your IP address, the page requested, the time of the request and your browser's user agent string.

Our domain name is resolved through Cloudflare's DNS service, and email sent to our address is handled by Purelymail.

We do not use these logs to build a profile of you, and we do not combine them with the analytics data described above.

7. How we use information

We use what we hold for a small and specific set of purposes:

• •To reply to your enquiry, and to quote for and carry out work
• •To keep records of the work we agree and the invoices we raise
• •To understand how this website is used and to improve it
• •To keep the site secure and available
• •To meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations in Nepal

We do not use your information for automated decision making, and we never sell or rent it.

8. Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers that make our business run, and only as far as each one needs it. Every provider is bound by its own terms and privacy commitments.

We may name a client and describe the work we did for them in a case study on this site. We agree what may be published with that client before it goes live.

9. Visitors outside Nepal

We are based in Nepal and we work with clients in the United Kingdom, Australia and elsewhere. The providers listed above are located outside Nepal, mainly in the United States and the European Union, so information about your visit is processed outside Nepal.

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you have rights over your personal data under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR. Those include the right to ask for a copy of what we hold, to have it corrected or erased, and to object to our using it. We will honour any such request. Write to info@raiserank.com.np and we will respond within one month.

10. How long we keep information

We keep information no longer than we need it:

• •Enquiry emails, while we are in conversation and for up to two years afterwards, so we have the context if you come back to us
• •Client records, contracts and invoices, for as long as Nepali company and tax law requires
• •Analytics data, for the retention period set in each tool, typically between two and fourteen months
• •Server logs, for the short period our hosting provider retains them, typically no more than thirty days

11. Your choices

You are in control of most of what is described here:

• •Ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to info@raiserank.com.np
• •Block or delete cookies in your browser settings
• •Install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on, which disables Google Analytics on every site you visit
• •Turn on a "Do Not Track" signal in your browser, which Microsoft Clarity respects
• •Ask us to remove your details from our records entirely, which we will do unless we are legally required to keep them

12. Children

This website is aimed at businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of sixteen. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.

13. Links to other websites

This site links out to our profiles on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and X, and to AI assistants including Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, Grok and Perplexity. Once you follow one of those links you are on a service we do not control, and that service's own privacy policy governs what happens next. We are not responsible for how they handle your information.

14. Security

This site is served over HTTPS. It holds no visitor accounts, no passwords and no payment details, because it has no account system and takes no payments, which removes entire categories of risk.

No transmission over the internet is ever completely secure. Email in particular is not a secure channel, so please do not send us passwords, card details or other sensitive information by email.

15. Changes to this policy

We will revise this policy whenever what we do changes, and the last updated date at the top will always tell you when that last happened. Where a change is significant, such as switching on analytics or adding a contact form, we will say so here.

Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
